American History X-mas

Friends, as you all know, it's been just over a week since the running of the bulls (otherwise known as Black Friday) that inaugurated the Christmas gift-shopping season. And while for the most part, the run-up to Christmas turns otherwise gentle people into bloodthirsty beasts willing to rip the limbs off of anyone who stands between them and that perfect gift for little Junior, every now and then the Lamb of God's birthday celebration does manage to bring out the best in us.

Take toy drives, for instance. I can't think of a more heart-warming illustration of the true spirit of Christmas than a bunch of strangers going out of their way to send gifts to needy children who otherwise might not receive any. That's why I was so thrilled to learn that for the first time ever, the Aryan Nation is conducting a Christmas toy drive! That's right, friends. As they put it on their website (www dot aryan-nations dot org):

Please help bring a smile to an Aryan boy or girl's face this Yuletide season. If you'd like to be a part of our first annual toy drive please send wrapped (if possible) gifts, marked either boy or girl and the age group, to:

Aryan Nations Toy Drive
P.O. Box 719
Lexington, SC 29071

Now, of course, nothing would give me more pleasure than to put a smile on these children's face. To say nothing of their parents. That's why, along with my friend Gasmonso over at Religious Freaks, we've decided to compile a list of links to help find the perfect gifts for the lil' blond haired, blue eyed tykes. Things like these black Barbies, or this Surf City Steven, Barbie's black friend. If you think the little rascals would prefer books, you can try "I'm Chocolate, You're Vanilla: Raising Healthy Black and Biracial Children in a Race-Conscious World", or "Not The Only One: Lesbian and Gay Fiction For Teens". Or if you think educational board games are the ticket, there's always Matzah Ball Bingo, or Kosherland.

In fact there's really no limit to what you can send, friends, as long as it's age-appropriate. (After all, they're still only kids, even if their parents are a bunch of scumbags.) Just remember to wrap the gifts inside whatever package you send them in (we wouldn't want to spoil the surprise), and to label it for the age & gender of the child.

Don't forget to drop us a line afterwards to let us know what you've sent off. And spread the word!! We want to make this a Christmas the Aryan Nation remembers.
